A Letter From Superior Propane

Dear Valued Members of the Clear Lake Property Association Members

We are reaching out to the members of your community as a result of some of the feedback we have received this winter season. We value the relationship we have built with your community, and we fully recognize the importance of reliable propane service.

We take your feedback seriously

Recent delivery challenges in the surrounding area have prevented us from meeting expectations in all cases, and I appreciate the opportunity to share the corrective actions we are taking to strengthen our service for your community.

Refining Forecasting and Planning

We are actively reviewing our processes to ensure we are better prepared moving forward. Our teams are already making adjustments to strengthen delivery planning, improve communication, and better manage periods of extreme demand. To better support the unique usage patterns in your area, we have updated our forecasting and routing models to continuously improve upon reflections of seasonal behaviour, generator usage, and travel conditions. This means our objective is to deliver when your tank is at approximately 20%. These refinements are intended to improve reliability during peak winter conditions.

Capacity and Reliability Enhancements

We are planning to review tank sizes in the spring to identify where adjustments could help reduce winter delivery risk. This means that we will review opportunities to adjust and right-size tanks as needed in advance of next season.

Annual BBQ Dinner Notice # 2

Just a quick reminder that our annual BBQ dinner is fast approaching. We posted this information last week however we heard a few people may not have received this post or the notice ended up in their SPAM folder. As such we are resending the information to all CLPOA members.

The event is Saturday August 30th at 5:00 PM is the date and time of the event. As most already know, we have a new process this year to book and pay for tickets. Adult and children tickets can be reserved by logging into your account, filling out the RSVP form and paying for all adult tickets.

Upon arrival, the member paying for the tickets will check in at our registration table, collect and distribute their tickets to their group prior to anyone entering the food line. Tickets will be presented by individuals as they proceed through the line.

As a member of the Clear Lake Property Owners Association, you are welcome to invite family and friends to accompany you.

Tickets are limited so please book your tickets as soon as possible.

Updated AGM Event Start Time

Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts at the hall, please be advised that the AGM meeting start times have changed.  Please note the changes within the original communications.

The Member’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held on July 6^th at the Winning Techniques Hall on Bay Lake Rd and Hwy #592. Registration for property owners that have not yet renewed their 2025 membership AND coffee and muffins for attendees starts at 9:30 AM, the AGM meeting starts at 10:00 AM. We welcome your input and as always, we are there to answer questions or concerns from our members.

The second event is the Annual Members Golf Tournament being held July 19^th at the Ridge Golf Club, 328 Sunny Ridge Rd, Sunridge, Ontario. The best ball tournament features a shotgun start with tee offs at 8:30 am sharp. Includes 9 holes of golf, coffee and breakfast treats, a great lunch and a prize table.  The cost is $80 per player. We have a new registration process this year whereby logged in CLPOA members can pre-register groups of up to 4 players and pay the group’s event fees by filling out and submitting our online RSVP event form. We can accommodate up to 52 golfers so please book as early as possible to avoid being left out. Club carts are limited and although requesting one on the RSVP form gives us an indication as to how many carts are requested, cart assignments and payments are arranged through the Golf Club on a first come first serve basis.

Come early for breakfast and to meet other players on your team if you did not submit a full 4some.

New Website

Dear Clear Lakers,

At our last AGM, your Clear Lake Property Owners Association Board committed to addressing many of the communication issues brought forward by members over the years and to that end, we’re pleased to announce our new interactive website.

While the web address remains the same, we’ve updated the functionality to provide more effective tools and make renewing your membership much easier.

Keep up to date with the goings on in our lake community, local contractors and special programs available to all CLPOA members.

In order to be able to take advantage of all these wonderful upgrades, you’ll have to register first “here”. Be confident that we have taken all the steps necessary to ensure your information privacy and web transaction security.

Upon registration, you will be able to password protect and manage your own personal information, sign up for future events and get access to money-saving programs.

If you’re worried about missing updates in the future, don’t be. We’ve made that easier too so when we make any update on the new website, you’ll be notified of the update to your email address on file and we will include a simple link that will take you directly to the posted information.

Please make sure to encourage all your neighbours who might not be members to join us, they really don’t want to miss out.
