We are reaching out to the members of your community as a result of some of the feedback we have received this winter season. We value the relationship we have built with your community, and we fully recognize the importance of reliable propane service.
We take your feedback seriously
Recent delivery challenges in the surrounding area have prevented us from meeting expectations in all cases, and I appreciate the opportunity to share the corrective actions we are taking to strengthen our service for your community.
Refining Forecasting and Planning
We are actively reviewing our processes to ensure we are better prepared moving forward. Our teams are already making adjustments to strengthen delivery planning, improve communication, and better manage periods of extreme demand. To better support the unique usage patterns in your area, we have updated our forecasting and routing models to continuously improve upon reflections of seasonal behaviour, generator usage, and travel conditions. This means our objective is to deliver when your tank is at approximately 20%. These refinements are intended to improve reliability during peak winter conditions.
Capacity and Reliability Enhancements
We are planning to review tank sizes in the spring to identify where adjustments could help reduce winter delivery risk. This means that we will review opportunities to adjust and right-size tanks as needed in advance of next season.
